1) About us
HOLIDAYS2THECANARIES is a booking site whose objective is to manage rural house rentals in the Canary Islands.
We only offer rentals of high quality standards, previously checked by our team, to ensure they meet the minimum requirements to guarantee customer satisfaction . All the accommodations we offer have been officially APPROVED by the Cabildo de Tenerife (Council of Tenerife) and fully comply with the requirements established by Decree-law 18/1998 of 5th March.
Our goal is to offer a wide selection of rural accommodations in the Canary Islands for those who enjoy nature and tranquility within a rural environment.
2) Prices
All prices shown are per night. Further price details (cost per person, per season…) are displayed on each and every accommodation´s fact sheet.
Prices include variable costs (electricity, water, gas, bed linen and towels).
The prices indicated on our website do not include the 7% Igic (Indirect Canarian General Tax).
Generally, rural accomodations are to be rented per week. Nevertheless, each fact sheet will display the minimum length of stay accepted for that particular accommodation. However, in most cases it will not be possible to confirm this information until up to 1 week before arrival, Particularly during high season.
3) Rural accommodations
All rural accommodations include bed linen, bath towels and tea towels. Items such as soap, washing powder, washing-up liquid, toilet paper, etc. are not provided.
Accommodations may be occupied from 17:00 on day of arrival until 10:00 on day of departure, unless the customer and the (manager of the) accommodation have mutually agreed otherwise.
4) Deposit
In order to guarantee your booking, you must pay the relevant deposit within the time limit specified on the booking form. Failure to process the payment on time will result in the booking becoming non-binding and being automatically cancelled. The amount of the deposit may vary depending on the type of accommodation. Each booking form will specify the conditions applicable to that booking. Any outstanding amounts will generally be paid in cash during the handover of keys at the beginning of your stay, although in some cases you may be required to process the payment by bank transfer 7 days before arrival. Please make sure you check your booking confirmation for confirmation of the payment method.
5) Cancellation
By the customer:
You may cancel your booking at any point prior to the commencement of your stay. Cancellations must be done in writing (e-mail, letter or fax).
In the event of a booking cancellation, cancellation charges will apply. These charges will depend on the notice period given for the cancellation.
Cancellation fees are as follows:
Cancellation up to 15 days before date of arrival: 25% of total cost of your booked stay.
Cancellation between 7 and 15 days before date of arrival: 50% of total cost of your booked stay.
Cancellation between 4 and 6 days before date of arrival: 75% of total cost of your booked stay.
Cancellation up to 4 days before date of arrival: 100% of total cost of your booked stay.
In the event of cancellation on the date of arrival or no-show, you will be charged the full amount of your booked stay.

Holidays2thecanaries may have to cancel a booking due to circumstances beyond its control or as the result of force majeure. If this happens, Holidays2thecanaries will be liable for providing alternative accommodation of similar standards or for offering the customer a full refund of any amounts paid.
6) Customer
The customer must check the accommodation´s inventory upon arrival and notify any issues or defects to Holidays2thecanaries within 24 hours so that these may be resolved. Similarly, any other complaints regarding the accommodation or the service must also be notified without delay.
Late complaints will NOT be taken into consideration and will NOT result in compensation.
The customer agrees to make good use of the premises and contents, and to notify any damages caused by him or her during the stay. Any damages caused must be paid for by the customer. The accommodations must be left in a clean condition.
The customer is fully responsible for the use given to the accommodation and surrounding land, including the pool. The property owner or Holidays2thecanaries will not be held responsible for any misuse of these by the customer.
The facilities may only be used by the persons staying in the rural accommodation. The entry of guests or persons not included in the booking is not permitted.
