This house was restored in the year 2000 and fitted out for rural tourism respecting its traditional Canary Island architecture, with considerable use of wood, especially in the ceilings, which, together with the natural light from the numerous windows in all living areas, make Casa Maximina very comfortable and homely. It has a kitchen-dining room with a studio couch, a bathroom with shower, washroom with iron, and a double bedroom which opens out onto a spacious terrace. The terrace is fully equipped with sun-beds, table, chairs, parasol etc, so guests can enjoy relaxing moments watching the sun come up every morning. From the house on clear days, there are superb views over the sea on La Palma’s southeast coast towards the islands of Tenerife, La Gomera and El Hierro.
